This naturally ornate box turned from
lovely pecan wood is great whether you might be a professional chef or an at
home cook. It holds ¾ cup of your
favorite spice or salt. You may use it
with total confidence as the wood was sealed with food grade walnut oil and
finished with a walnut oil/shellac mixture.
The inside of the box does follow the contour of the outside with a
general thickness of around 1/8”. The
diameter is 3” with a total height of 4 ¼”.
The vessel height is 3” and vessel depth of 2 ½”. Of course now some of you might be a bit of a
rebellious and sneaky spirit and use it to hide your personal stash of
M&M’s! 3Oct18 BXP90

Lovely wood is Pecan. Colouration is really nice, so is the shape and the lid follows the curve of the base nicely. I like this spice/ salt pot. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Les!!! Appreciate it. I need to turn some more of these as well as mortars and pestles. Let my stock get real low on these items. Take it easy, my friend.
