As you look at the wonderful natural
colors of this pecan bowl you will simply be wowed. Not only is it a beautiful bowl, but the size
of it is just about perfect for anybody.
After all the diameter is 8 ½” with a height of 3” and the depth is 2
¼”. The volume measured to the brim a
solid 4 cups. Holds liquids just
fine. There is a nice lip for ease in
handling. The wood was sealed and finished
with a mixture of walnut oil and shellac.
Using a combination such as this gives the bowl a nice hard long lasting
natural finish. The color of this wood
will match up with pretty much any décor.
And, it is also a great medium sized serving bowl. 8Jun19

ReplyDeleteHowdy, Howdy!!! I do love pecan. Not only is it a good looking wood for bowls and the like, the scrap cut offs work well for smoking meats. Gives them a slight sweet flavor.
