Such a lovely looking wood pecan is. Not many can argue with that I think. This classic styled serving bowl holds a whopping ½ gallon measuring it to the rim. That is a lot of salads or whatever goodies you decide to put in it. With an all natural finish of food grade walnut oil and shellac mixed, it will provide a hard long lasting natural finish. The wood was first sealed with the food grade walnut oil. The bowl measures 11 ½” in diameter, 3” high, and has a depth of 2”. This bowl is perfect sized for many tables as the diameter is not overly large. With the natural coloration of this wood with the light and dark colors with some spalting added to it you have to admit it is a good looking bowl.
