You gotta say WOW when you look at
this bowl turned from Cedar Elm. After
all you can’t help but notice the bark on the sides. Now doesn’t that add some rustic appeal to
it? This is a great sized medium bowl
that will look great as a display bowl for nuts and fruits, or use it as a
serving bowl for veggies and other tasty goodies. You might consider it for popcorn as
well. Never forget the popcorn. The wood was sealed with food grade walnut
oil and then the finishing was done with a walnut oil/shellac mix. This gives the bowl a nice hard long lasting
natural finish. The diameter is 11 ½”
with a height of 3 ¼” and a depth of 2 ½”.
The volume measured to ½ gallon.
The bowl is gonna look really good full of your favorite salad or even
smashed spuds! 2Jul19 BLCE11

Nice light colour to this bowl and with it being rustic you just have to love it, which I do. Good size which will hold quite a number of sweeties. Nice simple shape which pleases the eye, well turned and finished. I like the base its nice and clean.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Les! Happy you like it. Should be a good seller, me thinks!
