Stylish Pecan Pedestal Bowl

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again.  All bowls don’t have to be huge!  OK?  There are all kinds of uses for small bowls such as this one.  It’s a great size for putting nuts, candies, potpourri, and most anything else you want in it.  And with it being a pedestal style bowl, it will catch the eye of many folks.  After all, not everybody has a pecan pedestal bowl full of M&M’s sitting on their desk or table.  The diameter of this bowl is 4 ½” with a height of 2 ½” and a depth of 1 ½”.  The volume measures up to the brim at 1 cup.  The wood was sealed with food grade walnut oil and then finished with a walnut oil based wax.  Using a combination like this gives the bowl a nice hard long lasting natural finish.  This finish is renewable with olive oil.  Care instructions are included with purchase.  12Nov17  BLP172  For more info see:

  1. You are right my friend small is beautiful and this bowl certainly is. I love the light coloured wood with its small patch of darker colour-lovely. A very nice shape with a lovely base, what more can I say. The wood says it itself.
